Université Internationale d’Été de Nice

The International Summer University of Nice offers intensive French as a Foreign Language (FLE) sessions for students from around the world who wish to improve their French proficiency while discovering French culture on the French Riviera. The teaching is based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Students are divided into level groups and follow a program combining language courses and cultural activities, using an approach centered on communication and the practical use of French.

Courses are taught by a team of experienced instructors from Université Côte d’Azur. Sessions are held as intensive modules of two, four, or six weeks. In addition to the courses, an optional program of cultural outings allows students to discover Nice and the region (museums, villages, heritage sites) while practicing French in context. The International Summer University also offers a pedagogical workshop for FLE teachers, focusing on concrete classroom practices, exchange of experiences, and the reasoned integration of digital tools and AI.
