Institut d’études françaises de Touraine

Founded in 1912, the Institut de Touraine is a benchmark institution for teaching French as a foreign language. Located in the heart of Tours, in the Loire Valley internationally known for its châteaux, it welcomes each year more than 2,000 learners from all over the world wishing to learn French in France in an environment that fosters genuine linguistic and cultural immersion. The Institute offers a comprehensive range of French courses adapted to all objectives : general French, cultural immersion, professional French, preparation for official certifications (DELF, DALF, TEF IRN, TEFAQ, DFP CCIP), preparation for higher education, private lessons, and training for French teachers (FLE).
