Located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Science and Technology Corridor, DGUT benefits from its location within an area where manufacturing and technology are rapidly advancing. To take full advantage of this, the DCI is currently articulating students into joint education programs in communications engineering ; software engineering ; and mechanical design, manufacture and automation. Indeed, the DCI plays a significant role in DGUT’s internationalization strategy for science and engineering, as well as an important part of CNAM’s global teaching network.
By connecting CNAM’s long history, mature model and outstanding achievements in cultivating engineers and DGUT’s many advantages in science and engineering, The DCI has created a new engineering education model that combines both Chinese and international characteristics. The DCI is extremely well positioned to meet the future development needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong –Macao Greater Bay Area and to contribute to the transformation and development of the regional economic industrial structure.
