We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and inspiring French & Spanish Teacher to join our growing team.
The role will focus primarily on teaching children aged 3–11, creating fun, engaging and age-appropriate language lessons that inspire a love of languages from an early age.
The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children and confident delivering lessons through songs, games, stories, drama, movement, crafts and cultural activities.
Fluency in French and Spanish is essential, together with a minimum B1 level of English, allowing effective communication with children, parents, schools and colleagues.
MAIN RESPONSiBILITIES
Plan, develop, organise and deliver engaging French and Spanish educational activities.
Teach French primarily to children aged 3–11 in schools, nurseries and other suitable settings.
Deliver creative, age-appropriate language lessons using songs, stories, games, movement, drama and arts and crafts.
Adapt teaching methods and resources according to children’s age, ability and language level.
Use appropriate teaching materials for beginner and intermediate learners.
Encourage children’s confidence and enjoyment of learning another language.
Organise and participate in French and Spanish cultural events and activities, including drama, music, celebrations and themed workshops.
Provide private and small-group tuition where required.
Plan and lead breakfast clubs and after-school clubs incorporating enjoyable language-learning activities.
Prepare teaching resources and classroom materials.
Monitor learners’ progress and provide feedback to parents and the management team.
Work collaboratively with schools, nurseries, families and colleagues.
Contribute creative ideas towards the development of our children’s language programmes.
We are a growing Llanguage education business providing French and Spanish tuition and language activities for children, young people and adults across Guernsey. ( currently 4 full time employees and 4 part-time employees)

Organised, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable travelling between different teaching locations.
