We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Communication and Marketing Coordinator with strong expertise in marketing, social media, e-newsletter content creation, and online analytics - as well as excellent communication skills and a passion for all things French.
This role requires a high level of written and spoken proficiency in both English and French.
Your role will include to :
– Developing the Alliance Française Wellington marketing strategy and implementing communication plans in collaboration with the Director.
– Designing communication materials using design software (knowledge of Canva preferred).
– Managing AFW’s digital communication - updating the website (Oncord), editing the monthly e-newsletter, managing social media accounts (Meta Business Suite, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and running Google Ads campaigns (Paid and Grant).
– Building and nurturing relationships within AFW’s network of commercial partners and relevant social media communities.
The Alliance Française is a worldwide, non-profit network of associations dedicated to promote French language and culture abroad.
The Alliance Française Wellington is one of New Zealand’s largest and oldest associations.
Over 1000 students and members are currently enrolled at the Alliance Française Wellington.
– Over 2 years’ experience in communication and social media.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong interest in Francophone culture.
– Proficiency in Canva and Google Ads.
– Excellent written and spoken French and English.
– Candidates must hold a valid work visa or residency status allowing them to work in New Zealand.
