Sorbonne - Université d’été

From 24 June to 19 July, Sorbonne University organises a summer programme rich in diversity, offering multidisciplinary courses and courses in French as a foreign language by teacher-researchers from its community. These activities are taking place in the heart of the Latin Quarter, in the emblematic historic Sorbonne building. Open to everyone aged 16 and over (with parental authorisation for minors), this summer university is aimed at those who want to expand their knowledge and culture. The programme includes courses and lectures in literature, philosophy, art history, history and geography, among others. Each cycle of multidisciplinary courses lasts 15 hours a week, 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday. There are morning and afternoon slots, depending on the cycle. Enrolment is possible for one or more cycles, during the same week or over several weeks. For French as a foreign language courses, each module lasts two weeks, giving a total of 40 or 60 hours of teaching, depending on the level. Six levels are offered: A1.1, A1.2, A2, B1, B2 and C1.
